Description:

CloudPay is looking for an UK Payroll Specialist to join their successful payroll processing team working in a Payroll Bureau environment. Customer service skills, the ability to resolve client issues using effective problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and resolve tasks in order to meet multiple deadlines are an essential part of this role.


Attributes and Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years experience processing UK Payroll
• Experienced in calculations with NI, Tax and Statutory payments (SMP, SSP etc)
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent time management, administration skills and attention to detail
• Responsible for prioritising client’s payroll and delivering payrolls as required
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
• Team player with ability to share information and interact positively with others
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Daily duties and main responsibilities will include:

• Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently
• Provide support to clients on all payroll related matters to ensure the highest level of service, including acting as a back-up c overing for holidays or emergencies.
• Maintain payroll information and records on the CloudPay payroll application
• Research discrepancies of payroll information and / or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures
• Prepare reports, tax filings, correspondence and other written materials for compliance with statutory UK authorities.
• Work with other UK payroll team members in ensuring the system is configured in line with annual updates
• Assist associate members of the team with payroll queries and training
• Suggest process improvements

The UK Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for supporting other members of the payroll team alongside processing payrolls.

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience of end to end payroll processing, preferably with bureau experience
• Business software experience required: MS Excel, MS Word, Email Apps
• Good knowledge of UK payroll legal requirements, statutory forms and reporting
• Assertive action and decision-making skills
• Excellent time management, administration, and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
• Team player with ability to share information and interact positively with others

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

• Provide support and expertise to Payroll Associates and Specialists
• Provide payroll training and guidance to team members
• Keep up to date with legislation changes for UK
• Work with the team to ensure the UK software is developed in line with legislation updates
• Collating all data required for accurate payroll processing in line with tight deadlines
• Checking payroll input and output to ensure 100% accuracy
• Reviewing existing payroll processes to seek out improvements
• Assisting with phone and email queries promptly and effectively from both internal and external customers
• Act as a back-up to the manager during absence on payroll processing issu es
• Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently

Our fast growing team are looking for a Payroll Supervisor who can bring their own unique energy and enthusiasm to work with multi-national companies in the UK region in order to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

 

The UK Payroll Supervisor, will specialize in managing members of the UK in house payroll processing team and will be able to work collaboratively with CloudPay payroll operations team, in particular with the other current UK and Ireland supervisors.

 

Attributes and Experience Required:
• Experience in UK end to end payroll (minimum of 5 years) preferably within a bureau environment
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
• Team player with ability to share information and interact positively with others
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Assertive action and decision-making skills
• Experience in Supervising or managing a team (although we will consider experienced payrollers looking to move into a Supervisor role)
• CIPP diploma in payroll management is advantageous
• Irish payroll experience would be a plus, but is not essential

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
• Supervision and development of Payroll Associates, Specialists and Seniors
• Provide payroll system training and guidance on annual updates to new team member
• Ensure th e accurate & timely completion of weekly, fortnight, monthly, quarterly and annual UK payrolls
• Ensuring clients and team members work in line with agreed calendar deadlines
• Utilize analytics to review team member and client performance and lead improvements where required
• Provide guidance to team members on more complex payroll processes and queries
• Review existing payroll processes to seek out improvements
