Salary: £26,000 p/a
Location: Bristol – 1 day in office a week!

About The Role:

As a Payroll Officer you will be processing high volumes of end to end payroll and will ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time. You will be liaising with employees throughout the business and will answer any queries they have regarding to payroll. Additionally you will get the chance to learn more about payroll systems and will be ensuring all payroll processes are performed at the highest level possible.

Work will include maintaining, designing, building and unit-testing payroll and HR software product functionality as well as resolving bugs to ensure correct procedures are maintained for unit testing and delivery.

Job Title: Payroll Officer (9-month FTC)
Location: Bristol / Hybrid
Salary: £27,000 p/a

An exciting opportunity to work for a reputable institution as their 9-month FTC Payroll Officer.

You would be responsible for paying all staff accurately and on time, working with another Payroll Officer and reporting in to a Payroll Team Lead.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Assisting in resolving payroll issues with members of staff and/or departmental administrators by providing information
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on statutory and the company’s regulations
  • Liaising with the Payroll Supervisor when heavy workloads are expected and to ensure that weekly/monthly deadlines are met
  • Collating and recording confidential information on Personnel and Payroll databases (e.g. sickness monitoring, ad hoc payments), and using this data to produce reports for various departmental administrators.

Key skills required: 

  • Previous experience in payroll
  • Able to work methodically and to deadlines
  • Customer service experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: Up to £34,000 p/a

An exciting opportunity to join a fantastic institution as their permanent Deputy Payroll and Pensions Manager.

You would be responsible for helping run an extensive payroll and pension service.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring the preparation of payments are completed in time
  • Resolving Payroll and Pensions queries
  • Keeping up-to-date with statutory payroll requirements
  • Ensuring pension forms for all new starters are completed

Skills required: 

  • Minimum of two years in payroll
  • Experience using payroll and HR systems (iTrent desirable)
  • Working to deadlines
