Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator
Location: Coventry
Job Type: Permanent – Hybrid 1 day from home.
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 p/a + bonus

JGA are partnered with a leading international business that are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join them on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver accurate payroll processing for over 1500 employees, ensuring compliance with tight deadlines.
  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused payroll services, meeting Service Level Agreements and resolving issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to promote continuous improvement and liaise with site teams on Time and Attendance systems.
  • Manage payroll-related tasks, including inputting variable data, administering pension and stock plans, and handling year-end processes like P60’s.
  • Produce financial reports for Finance teams, maintained employee self-service accounts, and offered guidance on tax-related queries.

Requirements:

 

  • Experience with processing payroll for over 1000 in a sole role.
  • Full end to end processing essential.
  • Strong Excel and payroll systems knowledge.
  • Great communicator and be happy to take on ad hoc tasks.

Job Title: European Payroll Specialist
Location: Coventry – Hybrid (3 days in the office per week)
Salary: £50,000 + 20% bonus
Contract: Permanent

We are currently looking for a European Payroll Specialist to join a fast-growing company based in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the payroll function is efficient and compliant with all statutory and legal requirements.

The European Payroll Specialist will be responsible for:
• Processing payroll for multiple countries within Europe including the UK.
• Liaising with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring accuracy of payroll data and records.
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation.
• Calculating and preparing payroll documents.
• Analysing payroll trends and identifying potential issues.
• Preparing reports and answering queries.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Technical Skills Required:
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of UK and European payroll legislation.
• CIPP qualified or part qualified
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable approach.
• Previous experience of dealing with multi-country payrolls is desirable.
