Reporting to the Head of HR, this key role is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland payrolls for our 3,000 employees.

 

Applicants must have a successful track record of managing multiple payrolls, ideally in a multi-site high volume environment.

 

A CIPP qualification or similar would be advantageous.

 

Extensive payroll, pensions, benefits administration and systems knowledge is required, together with a detailed understanding of HMRC legislation.  Experience of using the SD Worx payroll software is desirable.  PC literate with advanced Excel skills, you must have an eye for detail and the ability to produce various payroll reports and other management information.

 

Previous experience of managing a payroll team is a prerequisite for this role combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  The ability to motivate your team and other colleagues to meet strict statutory and payroll deadlines is essential.  Applicants must have a flexible approach with a desire to provide the highest standards of service for the business.
