Job summary
As a result of the current post holder’s retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated Payroll professional to lead the very successful Payroll and Pensions Services team. The team provides high quality Payroll and Pension services to numerous NHS organisations and their subsidiaries. The service has expanded over recent years and we are seeking a highly motivated individual to ensure the high standard of service delivery to our customers is maintained and continues to develop.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a payroll department within a large and complex NHS organisation or NHS payroll Service provider. They will be required to have in depth knowledge of the Electronic Staff Record system as well as NHS terms and conditions and statutory payments.
This role is based at Salisbury District Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the overall leadership, management & performance of the payroll department, which provides managed payroll, pension and expense administration services to numerous NHS organisations and their subsidiaries.
