We are seeking to appoint a Payroll and HR Officer on a full-time basis. Although reporting directly to the HR Director, you will have a direct link to the Financial Controller. You will work closely with the HR and Finance teams and will be the first point of contact for all payroll queries.

The role involves high-volume administration and relies on accuracy in relation to inputting data onto the HR and Payroll system and the processing of contracts, offer letters and payroll. You will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of three separate payrolls across the school. Evidence of successful payroll processing is essential, and experience of Human Resource administration is an advantage.

The successful applicant should have a high degree of numeracy as well as a high standard of written and verbal communication and be meticulous and accurate with attention to detail. You will need experience in end-to-end payroll processing and software operations and a good understanding of Microsoft Office packages, particularly proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate data confidently. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential.
