Payroll Operations Manager – Home Based – £63k + 15% Bonus

A Payroll Operations Manager with high volume Payroll Management experience (5k+ employees minimum) is actively sought for this newly created opportunity.

 

You will manage a multi-sited team of c 20 payroll professionals with 4 direct reports, responsible for overseeing and improving existing payroll processes to ensure a first class level of payroll service.  The position is home based but will require the successful applicant to travel to the payroll sites when required.

A leading outsourcing services organisation  has a requirement for a Senior Global Payroll Manager to join their function to manage the payroll services team on a daily basis and also support payroll related projects.

This Senior Global Payroll Manager will be taking responsibility for client projects whilst monitoring progress against budget and training team members. A leading organisation has an urgent requirement for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their payroll department.

This is a remotely based role however will require you to travel to the office once a month which is based in Manchester.

Working in a small team, this Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for supporting the payroll processing of multiple monthly payrolls ensuring all inputs and changes are correct before processing the BACS payments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing staff in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
  • Providing advice to managers on payroll related queries.
  • Ensuring the payroll inputs and amendments are accurate.
  • Interrogating the payroll system to produce management information.
  • Auditing and amending as appropriate and producing reports.
  • Attending meeting to identify workloads and priorities.

Title: Global Payroll Manager

Location: Remotely based with ability to travel to London (10x per year)

Salary: £70K plus 10% bonus

 

JGA have been exclusively retained to support one of our key clients in recruiting a Global Payroll Manager.

Although this is a remotely based position, you will be required to travel to a London office circa 10 times per annum. You will also need to be comfortable managing a small team remotely.

As the Global Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 payroll professionals, with overall responsibilities for processing c.2,000 employees payroll across 30 entities.

As per as business as usual payroll excellence, you will also support a project leader in the implementation of Workday across the EMEA & APAC regions.

 

Global Payroll Manager – Responsibilities

  • Strategically lead, motivate and manage a small payroll team.
  • Sound working knowledge of managing global payrolls.
  • Ensuring service levels are met whilst maintaining strong relationships and an accurate payroll function.
  • Ensuring Payroll Compliance.
  • Balancing the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
