  • Proficiency in the use of iTrent (Midland HR).
  • Significant experience working in payroll processing roles.

A reputable luxury hospitality company are urgently seeking to hire a Payroll Officer to join their HR team. Reporting into the HR Manager this is a sole payroll role responsible for a payroll for c 200 employees using an outsourced payroll provider.

Role Details

We are seeking a Payroll & HR Systems Manager to work in our small, friendly HR Team.

This is a standalone role, and you will be responsible for running the monthly payroll; ensuring compliance and accuracy and providing employees and managers dedicated payroll expertise while ensuring an exceptional employee experience and customer satisfaction.

You will have a passion for continuous improvements in the utilisation of our HR systems, to ensure the HR team works effectively and efficiently in terms of data management and accuracy. You will be the subject matter expert on pensions, employment and benefits, national insurance and other associated taxes, and will provide advice to employees and colleagues as well as collaborate with different teams across the University and from the wider GGE group.

To be successful, you should be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders. We are a small HR team, so you should be a team player, able to support your colleagues during busy periods. You will have significant experience of managing HR Systems and Payroll processing in a small or medium organisation, with knowledge of Payroll related legislative requirements and compliance and an understanding of the full HR process. Experience using Workday would be an advantage.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to commence in early December.
