Summary: Payroll and Benefits Administrator 
Reporting to the Director of People, Culture and Learning, as the Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for managing payroll processing and administering employee Benefits programs. Responsible for ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and efficiently, and that the Company complies with relevant regulations.
Your primary focus will be on accurately and efficiently processing payroll, managing the company pension schemes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and administering and growing the employee benefits program. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll processes and benefits management. This new role is pivotal to the continued expansion of The Other House as we grow our brand, across properties and departments

 

We are looking for a person who 

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, Compensation & Benefits Administrator, or similar role in a hospitality business Familiarity with Benefits management principles and employee benefits programs.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration and HR compliance requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with changes in payroll and Benefits management practices.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple payroll schedules and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations related to employment law, HMRC, and payroll.
  • An innovative mind who puts forward solutions in a collaborative way, with consideration for the operational environment
