Title: Payroll Manager
Salary: £40,000 p/a plus 10% bonus
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid – West Midlands – 1 day a week in the office

 

A leading national organisation based in West Midlands is urgently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Manager to join their department and lead the payroll function.

Reporting into the Head of Payroll, this Payroll Manager position will have responsibility for a large team processing high volume payrolls.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the HMRC, software providers and pension provides when required.
  • Streamlining processes in line with current regulations.
  • Payroll reporting to key stakeholders and Finance.
  • Managing team performance and workloads.
  • Acting as the final point of escalation for payroll queries.

To be considered for this Payroll Manager position, applicants must have at least 5 years payroll management experience, have experience of managing payroll volumes in excess of 5000 staff, strong leadership experience and the ability to communication with stakeholders effectively.

  • Streamlining processes in line with current regulations.
  • Payroll reporting to key stakeholders and Finance.
  • Managing team performance and workloads.
  • Acting as the final point of escalation for payroll queries.
