Do you want to join a busy team that provides a first class payroll, pensions and HR transactional service to the council, schools and our external customers? If so we have the ideal job for you.

As a payroll expert you will have a sound proven technical payroll background with a high level of payroll expertise.  Have proven knowledge of UK payroll legislation and its application to the payroll process, including PAYE, tax, national insurance and pension contributions.

 

You will need to be super organised, used to be working to tight deadlines, dealing with high volumes of work and you will work as part of a proactive team. If you can demonstrate these skills we want to hear from you.

 

The HR Employment Services team in HR & OD provides Payroll, Pension and HR transactional services to employees and managers in the council, schools and academies and to the external organisations we work in partnership with, this includes a full recruit to pay service, a pension administration service and a payroll processing service including all technical aspects of producing a payroll.
