Payroll Assistant

We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist with the preparation of the monthly payrolls and related administration.
  • To assist with the checking, analysis and processing of temporary payroll data.
  • To assist in the preparation of the monthly and year-end returns for HM Revenue & Customs, Local Pensions Partnership (pension scheme), Legal & General (pension scheme) and any other payroll related returns as necessary.

Experience & Skills

  • At least 2 years computerised payroll experience within a similar sized organisation, with responsibility for a minimum of 200 payroll records.
  • A working knowledge of current payroll related legislation and Statutory Pay regulations.
  • Experience of working in an administrative capacity with strong attention to detail.

The role is predominantly based at Stephen Street, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working remotely from home until the foreseeable future.
